This extremely flexible operating system is widely used on mainframe and mid-range systems.  UNIX offers a rich set of tools and utilities for data analysis and management.  This training curriculum will teach learners the skills necessary to make effective use of UNIX tools as well as provide a thorough understanding of the principles on which UNIX is based.  In addition, it will give them the ability to develop applications using UNIX scripts.
