The Technology/Methodology literacy curriculum builds the knowledge base that IT professionals and managers need to effectively apply new technologies and methodologies.

Each course in the curriculum starts from scratch, assuming no previous knowledge or experience in the subject area.  Therefore, business area management and staff, especially those that work on IT projects, will also find this curriculum useful.

Each course answers three fundamental questions about the subject:

  • What is it?

  • How does it work?

  • Why would you do that?

The Technology/Methodology literacy curriculum uses adult learning theory (andragogy) techniques, including “Crazy Stuff” simulations and case studies, to enhance learning.  These proven teaching methods assist learners through their “head change” evolution and conceptual transition processes, helping them to understand and internalize how the new technology or methodology will affect their job tasks and role performance.
