Abstract

This course provides an introductory treatment of the QMF query management facility running under DB2.  It provides thorough instruction in Prompted mode and SQL mode.  It includes a rudimentary treatment of SQL to allow students to use SQL mode.  Upon completion, students should be able to execute, store and retrieve basic QMF queries, as well as print them using the report writing facilities.  In addition, procedures are covered to allow students to develop a series of SQL statements in a stored form.
