Michael Stiefel
Michael Stiefel is the
principal of Reliable Software, Inc., a company he founded in 1989.
Michael specializes in consulting and training with Microsoft
technologies, including COM+ and .NET. With 20 years of experience, his
expertise covers all stages of design, development and implementation of
multi-tier applications. He not only focuses on the technology issues,
but also ensures that information technology goals are aligned with
business goals.
Michael co-authored with Robert J. Oberg the
book “Application Development
Michael previously consulted for Microsoft, assisting Fortune 500 clients in the development of client/server solutions, and worked for Prime Computer as a Principal Software Engineer. Michael has served as a Visiting Scholar in the Science, Technology and Society Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) since 1998. He has taught undergraduate computer science at Framingham State University and graduate-level software engineering at Northeastern University.

engineering, an M.S. in nuclear engineering, and an interdisciplinary
