Enterprise COBOL for z/OS and VM Changes

This course examines the changes in Enterprise COBOL for z/OS and VM as compared to the initial introduction of COBOL for OS/390 and VM.  Eliminated features are examined. New capabilities of Enterprise COBOL for z/OS and VM are introduced.  Upon completion of this course, students should be able to incorporate the enhancements of Enterprise COBOL for z/OS and VM into their programs.

Audience

This course is intended for developers and systems programmers who are familiar with COBOL for OS/390 and VM.

Supervised Exercises

Students will be asked to create COBOL programs at the end of each class session.
