Relational database management systems are by far the most widely used mechanisms for storing and retrieving data.  Our DBMS curricula offer a thorough tour of both DB2 and Oracle, on mainframe, mid-range, and PC platforms.  We include the SQL necessary to effectively manipulate data, the principles by which to incorporate SQL into applications, and the optimal treatments for improving system performance.
