About Us

Our mission is to assist organizations to understand, plan and implement emerging I/S technologies and methodologies. We closely watch the evolution of both business and technology, looking for opportunities to apply I/S technologies to business issues. As I/S technologies and methodologies mature to the point where they are stable and useful, we act as change agents in several ways:

1 . We help our clients understand how and when to utilize I/S technology or methodology through briefings, seminars and consulting.

2 . We help our clients plan for the introduction, migration, integration and implementation of I/S technology & methodology.

3 . We assist our clients through the transition and implementation phases through consulting, training and mentoring.

4 . We assist and support our clients as they design, develop and deploy application systems through consulting, training and mentoring.

The I/S RESOURCE GROUP was formed in 1989 to meet management's growing need for expert assistance in the application of emerging Information Systems (I/S) technologies and methodologies. Based in Columbus, Ohio, we serve clients worldwide with a mix of consulting, education, training, referral and support services customized and tailored to meet our clients' specific business requirements.

The I/S RESOURCE GROUP consulting and instructor faculty includes leading I/S practitioners located across the U.S. and Canada. They are "specializing generalists" who balance I/S expertise with business knowledge and experience. In combination, the faculty covers virtually every I/S technology and methodology area.

The I/S RESOURCE GROUP combines the experience, expertise and commitment required to successfully apply and manage I/S technologies and methodologies in today’s rapidly changing I/S and business environments.

The I/S RESOURCE GROUP offers a range of service combinations designed to provide the assistance our clients require to effectively utilize emerging I/S technologies and methodologies. We don’t have "typical "engagements. The specific mix of services for each engagement varies depending on the particular client requirement. Our client services can range from a half-day briefing to an integrated full solution program which combines consulting, education, training, mentoring, requirements analysis, application design and development, and support services components.
